Nashville Sudbury School is excited to announce our income-based sliding scale tuition for the 2019-2020 school year!
Our Assembly, made up of parents, students, staff, and founders, believe that it is important for our school to be filled with students and families who are a true cross section of the community and who seek a liberatory learning environment, where all students have a voice in how that environment and their learning takes shape.
Based on the school’s budget and projections, the full tuition amount for a student to attend Nashville Sudbury School is $8,000. Our community believes that it is important to have a paid full-time staff member for the 2019-2020 school year working alongside two of our founders, to streamline the staff.
That being said, we want our school to be an option for families at all income levels. So we are offering a transparent sliding scale tuition based on the belief that a family’s financial commitment should align equitably with their financial resources. All families interested in the sliding scale tuition will submit a financial application and tax documentation to our financial committee who will review it to determine the exact tuition within the scale. Families who would like to pay the full tuition amount will not be required to submit financial information.
Nashville Sudbury School, a part of Two Springs Fellowship, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, is open to students ages 4-18 and welcomes students of every race, creed, and culture as well as families of every composition.
